This recording blends the various elements which make us a typical Don Lipovac Orchestra performance: Slovenian polkas and waltzes contrasted with beautiful Croatian ballads, Latin rhythms and accordion instrumentals, all with an international flavor.
Featured vocalists on this album are:
Bunny Rodina (vocalist and tamburitza) is of Croatian
descent; currently playing with the Latin band Caribe; blessed to have come from a musical
family who have always supported her musical endeavors. Don and
JoAnn Lipovac have been her mentors since she was 11 years old! A
versatile performer, she sings and plays tamburitza, mandolin,
and various percussion instruments. Theresa Ruzick (vocalist) is of Slovenian descent and
has been singing and studying voice for over 5 decades. She
started at age 11 with the Slovenian Church Choir. Since then she
has enjoyed doing solo and choral work with various musical
groups and choirs.
The music on this album was arranged and produced by Don Lipovac.
This album was recorded, mixed and mastered at Sound Trek Studios, Kansas City, Missouri, by Ron Ubel.
